In this course i was taught on how to summarize a presentation to someone and without leaving any major information to the person, Moreover i got to know what's a PSA and how to properly do one. Later on i was taught on how to write a proper CV correctly the do’s and don'ts basically, which led me to change my old CV since it had some format mistakes. And we had a interview training where we acted as an interviewer and interviewee which gave me critical knowledge on how i should answer the questions in such manner that would raise my chance of getting the job, if i ever had to do an interview for a job.

Also we had to do a presentation about poverty which taught me on how to really do a presentation which actually depends on the presenter knowledge of the topic and him keeping it interesting and one should maintain eye contact when he presents, and the presentation should only contain very few words.

these skills might prove useful in the career i would pursue in the future, i could now do a presentation with confidence since now i know how to present effectively and professionally. and the CV writing might actually help me land a job in the future if i decided to have a change in career. And lastly i could quickly summarize a presentation to someone leaving out the side information and focusing only on the main ideas of the topic

Script:

Y, R, and U are undoubtedly letters, and not words. The word you are looking for are WHY, ARE, and YOU. As in, it is absolutely astonishing that YOU are too lazy to properly utilize this sophisticated, age-old language, WHY is it that you ARE obliterating the structure of this language just so you can spare a few seconds of your time. Surely, the integrity of the English Language is far more important than the time you spend behind your mobile phone, texting.

This Ted talks about how your body language could affect how people think of you, and the way they interpret the way you communicate to them through your palm gesture. if you talked and kept your palms facing upwards that means you aren't that serious and you might look a bit silly but the person would go with what you are saying since the idea you are suggesting might be or looks fun. Now if your palms were facing downwards this would indicate that you are giving orders and people might take this rudely and not follow with what you are saying. now the last gesture is pointing this means the person have no choice and this is a directive.

However this doesn't work in all situation there are situation where you have to use a certain gesture. imagine this if the fire alarm goes off and you want to give instructions on what to do with a palm upward gesture people wont follow your instructions and everyone would panic, but if you used a commanding gesture they would feel calm and follow your instructions. This is the example of the power of body language if used correctly you can persuade people , and keep in mind this is with only your hands.
